A world without poverty, hunger, violence and discrimination.
To be a catalyst for the poor and needy in providing Education, Health & Nutrition, Sustainable Livelihoods, Child Protection and Gender Equality for all including Specially Challenged Groups. Promoting & participating in campaigns such as climate change preparedness and implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in an inclusive manner are other priority areas of intervention for the Foundation.
WorkMatterz Foundation carries out its work through Collaboration, Partnership and Networking with Corporates, NGOs, Government and other associations/networks, both domestic and international.
The Foundation also manages, and when required, directly runs the development/welfare programs of international organizations that does not have a registered office in India.
WorkMatterz is partnering with Rise Against Hunger India for their flood relief efforts in Kerala. Here is a family of 20 members (including board members of the Foundation) in the age group of 12 to 85 who came together to package meals that were sent to Kerala for those in dire need.
Based on a request from a corporate group, WorkMatterz facilitated distribution of Glucon-D to some very poor abandoned people (especially women & children) in coastal Odisha during the summer when many were suffering from dehydration, sunstroke and other illnesses due to excessive heat and humidity. A field monitoring of this project was conducted by WorkMatterz recently and it was a pleasure to see the joy and relief among those who benefited from this small but very meaningful project for the poor. This project was carried out at an NGO called Nilachal Seva Sansthan based in Kanas in Puri district.
WorkMatterz Foundation members regularly volunteer at events conducted by Rise Against Hunger India, an organization that provides dry packaged meals (consisting of rice, dhal, dehydrated vegetables and vitamins) to those in need. Members have attended meal packaging events at corporates such as Google, Thermo Fisher, Juniper Networks, etc.
Foundation members and their families visited Sneha Care Home to spend time with children affected by HIV and also provided them with books, clothes and food items. Some members give books & clothes on a regular basis to various NGOs in and around Bangalore.
